International Women
in Agribusiness Award

IFAMA is introducing a new award which aims to recognize and celebrate the exceptional contributions of women who have displayed outstanding dedication and leadership in advancing the food and agribusiness sector.

CRITERIA

Nominees must be a member of IFAMA and meet at least two of the following criteria in the last 12 months:

• Showcased outstanding leadership and innovative solutions in agribusiness, driving positive impact on local and global agriculture.

• Advocated for the empowerment and education of women in agriculture through mentorship, training, or community programs.

• Implemented sustainable agricultural practices that contribute to environmental conservation and community development.

• Contributed to the advancement of agricultural technology and digital solutions to enhance productivity and efficiency in the industry.

NOMINATION PROCESS

To nominate a candidate please submit a written statement that highlights the contributions and service made by this individual in at least two of the above categories. Nominations should provide appropriate supporting evidence that is not contained in the candidate’s vita. The recipient(s) will be announced during the 2024 Presidential Awards Banquet in Almería, Spain, in June 2024.
