Agribusiness/ Food Business Management

Program Description

Agribusiness students get a comprehensive introduction to business management, marketing, finance, accounting, and business economic principles. The Agribusiness program helps student identify market opportunities, develop a business plan and marketing plans, and connect with successful businesses through networking. Agribusiness majors complete a combination of technical and general courses that allow them to gain hands-on experience while completing 50 percent of the curriculum for a Bachelor of Science degree in agriculture at The Ohio State University College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences. Students complete general education courses in English, mathematics, biology, chemistry, history, music, rural sociology, economics, and agricultural communications.
