Executive Editor-in-Chief Dr. Kevin Zhigang Chen, Qiushi Chair Professor, China Academy for Rural Development and School of Public Affairs, Zhejiang University Senior Research Fellow, International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI) Dear Colleagues and Friends, My position as the IFAMR Editor-in-Chief began on July 1, 2020. Previously, I've served as an IFAMR Managing Editor since 2017. I am very much honored to serve in this role. It is exciting to watch the international stature of the journal continue to rise with a Journal Impact Factor™ of 1.9 according to the 2025 Journal Citation Reports™ from Clarivate, 2025. The CiteScore Rank is 3.7 (CiteScore™ calculated by Scopus, 2025). This reflects on the increased demand for cutting-edge expertise and knowledge in the food and agribusiness areas from academia, industry, and government agencies. As Qiushi Chair Professor and the International Dean of China Academy for Rural Development (CARD) at Zhejiang University, and also Senior Research Fellow at the International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI), I strive to consolidate our global editorial team and grow our flagship platform as a place for scholars, practitioners, and policymakers to publish research and case studies in agribusiness management worldwide, as well as enhance the journal's ability to serve our audiences from emerging markets better. We live in fast-changing times, but one thing that will not change is the IFAMR’s commitment to serving at the intersection of agribusiness management among academia, industry, and government agencies and our close ties with authors, reviewers, and readers. With a strong international network, recognized academic excellence, and editorial experience, our team of managing editors is key to fortifying our position as a leading international journal in the global food and agribusiness management sector.
