IFAMA 2017 WORLD CONFERENCE
The IFAMA World Conference convenes over 400 faculty, industry leaders and top students from around the world to share, learn, explore and build on the research, trends and innovations that drive the agribusiness sector.
The 2017 conference in Miami, Florida, USA is held in partnership with the Purdue University's Center for Food and Agricultural Business. It offers a myriad of ways to connect with top researchers, industry colleagues and young talent from around the world. Recent conferences were held in Aarhus, Denmark (2016), Minneapolis, USA (2015), Cape Town, South Africa (2014), Atlanta, USA (2013) and Shanghai, China (2012).
The conference features the only Student Case Competition in the field of Agribusiness, an internationally-renowned Symposium, and a World Forum. Delegates come together around the three major issues of Become the Solution: Food Security 2050 in roundtable discussions led by IFAMA members and industry partners.
IFAMA aims to enhance its members’ capacity to excel at the science and art of food and agricultural business management. Effective science-based decision-making is developed through discussions, debate, and careful deliberations among peers. Through these, members discover the multidimensionality of their common issues, draw connections to broader themes and develop solutions which enhance collective competitiveness.
