Support explicitly targets students enrolled to compete in the case competition. In general, awards will not be greater than what is provided by the university or other local support. No support is available for young professionals. Financial support is awarded at the conference and not provided in advance.
LOGISTICS
Please note: Individuals are required to provide contact information, university affiliation AND upload a simplified pro forma (see below) illustrating how they plan to finance their attendance. Costs must include: registration fees, accommodation, travel expenses. Revenue must show how costs are to be met: personal funds, university support, other support, IFAMA support.
An application by the Case Competition Team is preferred: the Academic Advisor will coordinate the required information and provide her/his feedback to IFAMA on the real needs of the applicants.
In Miami 2017 support ranged between 0 and $500 USD. These levels will be lower for Buenos Aires, as IFAMA has already reduced the registration fee.
Please note: Different dedicated sources of financial support are in place. For example, CHS will provide support to US, Canadian and Argentine students. The African Chapter will provide support to African students.
Student financial assistance grants are awarded on a competitive basis. The application form and link will be active on this site, by Monday, December 11.
